The UWF120 SERVO combines the classic construction of an industrial universal milling machine with a modern drive system. The use of servo drives for the X, Y and Z axes enables smooth and precise working movements, improving control over the machining process and making it easier to adapt parameters to the type of material, workpiece geometry and tool used.
The heavy cast-iron machine body reduces the effect of vibration during cutting, which directly contributes to process stability and the quality of the machined surface. The independent vertical head drive increases machine functionality, enabling a variety of operations without frequent workstation reconfiguration.
The machine is constructed with a cast-iron body whose weight and rigidity support vibration damping during machining. The Schneider Electric electronics and servo drive system control the machine's basic functions and working movements. The vertical spindle speed is 45-1660rpm, while the horizontal spindle speed is 34-1320rpm.
