How does a pallet truck work?

How does a pallet truck operate? The forks are raised and lowered by a hydraulic or electric mechanism, allowing the operator to easily handle heavy goods.

The operator’s main task is manoeuvring the lever or control panel to regulate the truck’s movements. When the pallet truck is positioned under a pallet, the forks slide beneath it and are then lifted to raise the load off the ground.

Once the pallet reaches its destination, the truck is stabilised, and the forks are gently lowered to safely place the pallet on the floor. CORMAK pallet trucks are fitted with various safety systems, including anti-drop locks, brakes and acoustic warning signals.
