Laser safety system
Optionally available: a top-of-the-range laser safety system, which protects the operator and more than doubles the speed of the bending process.

With a laser
- A laser safety curtain is used
- The laser creates a ‘barrier’ right next to the bending zone — if a hand enters the beam’s path, the machine immediately stops the beam’s movement.
- Protects the operator without reducing productivity.
Without a laser
- The press only stops when someone breaches the safety guard at a greater distance from the tool.
- The safety measures are more traditional:
- light curtain safety barriers fitted further away from the tool
- two-hand control
- mechanical devices
With a laser
- Minimum safety distance — the operator can work closer to the tools.
- The machine can operate faster, as the system tracks the tool in real time.
- The biggest advantage: maximum productivity + safety.
Without a laser
- Greater safety distance = slower operation.
- The beam must decelerate earlier.
- More time lost between bending cycles.
With laser
- The laser can detect a finger or even a small component right next to the bending zone.
- The system operates a millimetre from the die.
Without a laser
- Light curtains only detect movement within a specific zone — usually 100–200 mm from the tool.
- Protection is less precise.
With a laser
- The operator can work naturally whilst using the tool.
- They do not need to keep their hands at a considerable distance.
- Very convenient for single-unit production and short runs.
Without a laser
- The operator must work under greater restrictions.
- It requires more steps, such as frequently pressing two start buttons.

Punch and die mounting:
- Four-sided dies and split punches as standard
