Automatic adjustment of backgauge travel (X axis) and R axis (manual as an option*). The R axis facilitates bending larger radii, for example using step bending.

Option*: adjustment of the fingers in the Z1, Z2, R1, R2, X1 and X2 axes using servo motors.

To achieve a satisfactory step-bending result, certain calculations are required. These require knowledge of several key parameters related to the bending process:
- Arc length – the distance between the ends of the curve of the bent sheet section, measured along the inside of the bend;
- Number of bends – the number of individual bends required to obtain sheet metal bent to a specified radius; the greater the number of bends, the smaller the angle of each individual bend and, consequently, the smoother the arc;
- Distance between bends – the distance between individual bends made during the process.
Although the entire step-bending process may appear quite complex, CORMAK machines and software are sufficiently advanced to handle many aspects of the process automatically for the operator.
Automatic crowning compensation
Ensures the same bending angle along the entire bending length – (option*)
Manual crowning compensation (option*)

Safety
Laser safety system
Supplied as standard, a high-class laser safety system protects the operator and more than doubles the speed of the bending process.

We do not compromise on safety! High-quality hydraulic connections and safety valves.

Beware of inadequate protective systems such as gates or light curtains, as they may not comply with CE standards and may expose employees to health risks. As the employer, you are responsible for the health of your employees!
CE-compliant safety guards

Ergonomics and Additional Features:
- Mobile controller on a movable arm
- LED lighting: improves working comfort and safety
- Supports on linear guides
- Follower supports (option*)
Servo-driven follower supports enable the bending of larger sheets by lifting the sheet at an angle during the bending process so that the bent arc does not deform and maintains the specified angle.
We care about the safety of our customers and their teams, which is why our press brakes are equipped with a range of advanced safety features. These include clear markings, side guards, a rear safety gate and easily accessible emergency stop switches.
Each machine is supplied with a clear and detailed user manual.
The fact that a machine has a CE declaration does not in itself mean that it is safe. The systems with which it is equipped are important!

SCO – Oil cooling system
Supplied as standard, this system ensures stable machine operating parameters even after prolonged continuous operation.
Punch and die clamping:
- Segmented multi-V four-sided dies and segmented punches supplied as standard
- The basic system used in CORMAK press brakes is the manual AMADA-type (European) system, enabling fast tool changes
- Punches are inserted from the side of the machine and secured with screws
Die and punch selection
To achieve the desired final result, correct selection of press brake tooling, i.e. the die and punch, is also important.
CORMAK press brakes continuously take bending measurements and can, for example, correct deviations during the process to achieve the best possible result.

Depending on the pressing force of the press brake, segmented punches and dies may vary in length.
