CORMAK JDSA is a portable electric strapping tool designed for securing parcels, cartons, grouped packages and pallet loads. The tool is compatible with polyester PET strapping from 13 to 16mm wide and 0.7 to 1.2mm thick.
The JDSA model is a handheld battery-powered strapping tool positioned directly on the strap by the operator. The tool tensions the strap, joins its ends by friction welding and then cuts off the excess material. The strapping process does not require additional metal or plastic seals.

Once the required tension has been achieved, the operator starts the friction-welding process. The strap ends are permanently joined and the excess strap is cut off by the tool.
The approximate welding time is 2 to 5 seconds and may depend on the tool settings and the type of strap used. The process does not require additional metal or plastic seals.
The ergonomically shaped handle fits comfortably in the hand, providing secure control of the strapping tool during tensioning, welding and strap cutting. The appropriately shaped grip section makes the tool easier to control and reduces hand strain during successive strapping cycles.
