The new version has been additionally equipped with its own hydraulic pump and hydraulic oil tank, which power the two feed rollers that push the material onto the cutting disc—accelerating and simplifying the chipping process.
The WOODGRAIN BX72RS is designed for efficient shredding of branches, tree trunks up to an impressive 17 cm in diameter, and even coppice shoots up to 30 cm. The chipper uses a three-point hitch system, making it ideal for tractors with a minimum 50 HP engine.
It features a hydraulic self-feeding hopper with two high-powered hydraulic feed rollers. The mechanism includes a smooth 10-level feed speed controller, reverse function, and emergency stop, making operation intuitive and safe.
The hydraulic system is powered by a built-in hydraulic pump, driven by the PTO shaft (Power Take-Off) from the tractor.
The wood chips are discharged through a 360° rotatable chute.
The heavy-duty cutting disc has a diameter of 750 mm and thickness of 27 mm, equipped with 4 double-sided sharpened knives and 1 counter-knife, ensuring efficient shredding with reduced engine load.
