The universal lathe CORMAK 660 x 2000 is a heavy-duty, industrial conventional lathe designed for precise metal machining in manufacturing plants, tool rooms and maintenance workshops. The structure based on a massive, hardened bed and a powerful 7.5kW spindle drive ensures high operational stability, dimensional repeatability and long service life even under intensive use.

Design and technology

The lathe body is made of high-grade cast iron, providing a high machine weight (approx. 3190 kg) and effective vibration damping. The headstock is equipped with a reinforced bearing system, ensuring stable operation across the entire speed range from 25 to 1500 rpm. The central feed selection system, leadscrew and feed rod enable precise threading as well as automatic longitudinal and cross feeds.

The spindle gearbox based on hardened and ground gears ensures long-term, trouble-free operation. The ergonomic control panel allows quick adjustment of operating parameters without interrupting the machining process.

Precision and productivity

The CORMAK 660 x 2000 metal lathe is designed for accurate and repeatable machining of workpieces up to 2000 mm in length. The rapid feed system significantly reduces cycle time, while the removable bed bridge allows turning of components with diameters up to 885 mm. The threading dial enables quick carriage return without loss of synchronisation, which is essential for precision threading.
