RECI W1 Laser Tube – high cutting quality and long-term stability
RECI W1 is a proven CO₂ tube designed for precise cutting and engraving while maintaining stable beam parameters. The RECI design and quality control translate into a service life of approx. 12,000 hours, reducing operating costs and minimising downtime.
Why the W1 improves cutting quality and repeatability
- Stable power = clean edge – maintaining the tube’s temperature within the recommended range limits power fluctuations, resulting in smooth edges and repeatable details between production batches.
- Power reserve – simplifies speed and pass selection and allows processing of typical non-metal materials with an adequate safety margin.
- Lower degradation risk – stable operation reduces the need to increase parameters over time, which usually worsens cutting geometry.
Longer component lifespan
- Tube – declared service life of approx. 12,000 hours under proper use means fewer replacements and predictable operating costs.
- Power supply and optical path – smaller thermal and current fluctuations result in lower load on cooperating components.
- Cooling system – correct flow and temperature reduce the risk of microleaks and cavitation in the circuit.
Best practice: how to maintain stability and quality
- Cooling – use a chiller matched to the laser’s power and load (constant coolant temperature, flow control).
- Optics and alignment – after tube installation, align the optical path; record reference test results as a process profile.
- Operation – clean filters and circulation system, control coolant quality and ventilation, and avoid extended operation outside the recommended temperature range.
